To favor or not to favor

From the get-go I have stated that I didnt want to do favors for our wedding. It just seems like a waste of money and then people end up with your name on a beer coozy (what?!). So, I have opted not to do them. Well G thinks it would be a good idea to make a CD of some of our favorite songs or songs that have to do with "love" and give that to everyone. If we are to do this, I am leaving the entire project up to him. I dont want any part in it. But my question is, are CDs out of date now!? I mean really, who listens to CDs any more? I, personally, rarely do (unless its sugarland in my car so I can sing along). So I dont want it to be a wasted effort, or be thrown in the backseat of someones car to never be listened to.

What do you think?!
I really need some help on this, so please please please, take a minute out of your day and help a girl out!

  1. We did "cake boxes" with our name and wedding date on them. So that way the cake didn't go to waste, and it was all cute looking for people to take home with them. And they weren't horribly expensive either. The reception place gave us back all the leftover ones....if you want to take a look let me know....I have probably hundreds in my garage. You could make a cute label and no one would ever be the wiser. ;)

  2. Good Idea above... Also flowers are something that always go to waste and people love to take them home... Maybe monogrammed flower bags too?
    S and I never listen to CD's.
